Mission
The Williamson County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is dedicated to safeguarding the community by coordinating emergency preparedness, response, and recovery efforts. With a team of two full-time staff members and approximately 20 dedicated volunteers, we stand ready to assist in incidents involving fire, law enforcement, public works, and other emergency services.
As the county’s Emergency Operations Center, we develop and maintain the Emergency Operations Plan and play a critical role in disaster response. In collaboration with the National Weather Service, we also monitor severe weather to keep residents informed and prepared.
Community outreach is a key part of our mission. Throughout the year, we provide educational presentations to local groups to enhance emergency awareness and preparedness. If you’d like to schedule an outreach program for your organization, please contact us.
