Financial Reports and Audits

State law requires most public bodies (schools, fire districts, municipalities, etc.) to file documents detailing their financial status annually. For most districts, this includes a budget and appropriations ordinance, an annual audit and an annual financial report (AFR). These documents are available for public inspection. Copies of other financial documents, such as current bond ordinances and tax levy ordinances are also filed.

Please contact the County Clerk’s office for additional information about public filings and how to view them.
